Campus Create TEVRAIS : DigInfo

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

DigInfo - http://www.diginfo.tv

At Embedded Technology 2008 in Pacifico Yokohama, Campus Creative showed their new Testing and Evaluation System for Camera Shake and Image Stabilization, TEVRAIS, which uses a moving image to help determine the amount and nature of stabilizing problems in cameras.

When using still images small amounts of instability and the direction of instability are difficult to detect but TEVRAIS helps solve these problems.

Campus Creative performed many tests shooting with the same camera with the stabilization on and off at varying shutter speeds and found that as the shutter speed increases the difference between the stabilization on or off narrows while at slower shutter speeds the amount of camera shake differs greatly.

With TEVRAIS, Campus Creative plans to improve on camera stabilizers to get clearer images.

This tutorial demonstrates how to create a proper war structure, do a basic web.xml deployment descriptor configuration for the FacesServlet that implements the FrontController Design Pattern, and it shows a simple faces-config.xml file.

A HelloWorld Java Server Page (JSP), helloworld.jsp, is created that is then invoked through the JSF framework on the Tomcat6 server to ensure the JSF1.2 environment is configured properly.
