Dell blades consume far less energy compared to HP. We did our own tests before purchasing and in our tests Dell blades consumed 27% less energy. I guess it depends on how high you load is. In this video you can see a comparison on the cooling fans - and as you can see the Dell ones on the left consume almost 70% less.
