Apple announced what was expected: the iPad2. It is faster and vastly thinner. The dual core processor and faster graphics processing will certainly speed it up, but it maintains the same battery life and price. Ipad fans will likely be thrilled. Best of all, Steve Jobs was on hand to tell and show it all.

The iPad 2 has a dual-core A5 processor, front and rear cameras and is lighter and thinner than its predecessor.
